Policy

Okay, so rules stink but they are there to help make things run smooth.  This is mainly a reference for pack and friends alike, however go ahead and read.  There is no promise that it is interesting though. 

Joining

REMEMBER: This is NOT an RPG pack.  We are a real "human" pack.  This means you must know us and hang out often.  Its more or less a friendship, some have gangs we have pack.

Knowing this you might want to learn about nominations. 

You MUST be nominated by a ranking wolf (Alpha or Beta). If you are suggested to one of us we will make the decision on whether you are nominated or not!. Pack votes to bring you in or not.

Once nominated there will be a minimum 1-2 hours of hangout time. In this we can get to know you and how you will eventually get along with other members in the pack.

Finally there is a 1-2 month pending period. You could call it probation if you wish to. During this time you are not watched like a hawk but if conflict grows or you are the center of chaos you can be booted, also during this time your rank will temporarily be dropped to Omega. You will not move until your pending time is over. Once that is done the rank will be moved to subordinate. If alpha feels she will move you accordingly.

Also, in the past names have been given or used before the member has passed the pending period, this will not be so.  You may choose your name and make an account at the site, however you will not be official until its done. 

You have three strikes after this period of time. First strike is a stern stern warning from the alpha in which yelling or occasionally a growl or bite...if it isn't awkward... Next strike will be drop in rank to omega and you will be treated as such. Finally the third strike and you are booted until alpha says otherwise. It has happened and I hate having to do it. It causes stress on everyone, not just the bootee so please act right so it won't happen to you.

As a member

Congratulations, You're a member and have passed your pending period without being booted.  Not a hard thing to do however. FIRST OF ALL you should probably make an account at the forum!  It is now a requirement for new members so do it, it helps with the news and update issue.

  We're not an exclusive bunch and we love new friends however, there are somethings you need to know.

1/2) ALPHA IS TOP DOG...seriously though.  She isn't mean so, if ya need or want to do something like change something in the pack just give a whistle (literally if you feel inclined to do so.)

 1) The first rule about the pack, is that you don't mention anything that is "secret" to anyone but a member.  AND YOU  SAY IT QUIETLY IN THE PRESENCE OF OTHERS.  This has caused a lot of trouble in the past and its just easier to be quiet.

2) Its ok to discuss the pack casually but please remember people begin to wonder what it is.  We aren't outsiders but its kind of weird to refer to us like that.  Especially if someone else doesn't understand.  Its more or less the secrets issue.

 3) DRAMA NOT OK!  Its not going to get you booted if its caused but it causes a lot of unneeded stress on everyone else so less drama = less stress got it?

4) Alpha is PROTECTIVE, yes I am deathly serious.  You may think this funny but as Alpha she feels she must watch for everyone's safety.  If she hears of any kind of abuse within the pack (physical or mental) that is anything but a friendly joke then it will be dealt with.  By anymeans necessary.  She won't involve herself in other things outside the pack unless asked to do so.  REMEMBER: If you feel there is an issue or a problem don't wait, just tell the alpha.  Things should get taken care of.

5) Remember the golden rule...cheesy but effective.

Back after a boot?

Yes it happens, booting can be cause by few things, Alpha is extremely leanient though. So you've probably pissed a lot of people in the pack off because you won't be booted just because you are annoying sometimes.  Its more a group vote.   Here's the deal...

Once you are booted you have a chance to get back in...1 chance so don't waste it.

First you must wait a month or two then you may appeal to the pack as a whole, not one by one, a whole.  You must apologize for what we all feel you've done wrong.  We all must see you're sincere and going to change what you've done.

After your appeal, then you will be evaluated in private, meaning you go bye bye while the big boys have a private conversation.  The pack can decide you are not ready to join back and will not bring you back, but that depends on you. 

 If the pack decides you deserve a second chance you will go back to pending, this time you have a TWO month waiting period you get ONE warning the entire two months. After this warning you will be booted if its happens again...or you cause another disturbance.  Not only alpha has to be around and if you get booted you cannot be threatening the group.  YOU WILL HAVE ALPHA TO DEAL WITH.  YOU DON'T WANT THAT.

If you pass this period you  will be brought up to Subordinate again and the three strikes applies.  You will, however, probably will be watched like a hawk and well, you know how that is.
